About Me!

Hello! My name is Sybbatra, and I am a fan artist and illustrator currently working out of Boston, MA. I received my BFA in illustration in 2021, and have been working freelance ever since. Though I work digitally for most of my projects, I am knowledgeable in traditional media as well (my senior thesis was done in my FAVORITE medium, gouache!).

I started posting art online when I was in middle school, scanning in sketchbook drawings of my Invader Zim original characters onto my family’s computer. Though no one really saw my work, I had such a great time putting my ideas out there. Fan art was always a big part of my life, so I wasn’t necessarily shocked when I got back into posting it around 2021. My love for anime and animated media was reawakened during the pandemic, and after years of making art for other people, I was delighted to start making art for myself again. I posted process videos and art reveals to my tiktok page, which started slowly gaining followers the more I posted. Before I knew it, I had amassed a significant following, which was equal parts scary and exciting!

I’ve been posting on my pages consistently since then, and have had an absolute blast doing it! I’ve gotten the opportunity to work with brands like Viekk and Wooacry, and even had the chance to collaborate with Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade! You might also see me selling my wares at various anime conventions and markets around the US, usually printed in house by me and my trusty printer, Matilda! (love that diva)

Art is a huge part of my life, and I am so lucky to be able to share what I love with so many wonderful people!
